The Catalogue Package covers a published design within its allowance (window and door sizes, colours, placement on your block); anything more is the Custom Package — or, after a Catalogue Package, the Custom Drawing Upgrade, which MBA confirms with you first.

It depends on what you change.
The Catalogue Preliminary Package documents a published MBA home on your block. You can resize its existing windows and doors, choose its colours and place it — and it stays a catalogue design. Move a wall, add or move an opening, or change its shape, and it becomes a custom design: the Custom Preliminary Package. MBA confirms which applies before you pay.
